Denture Prices & Costs
How Much Do Dentures Cost?
One of the first questions we’re asked at Coast to Coast Dentures is:
“How much are dentures going to cost me?”
And it’s a fair question.
If you’re considering new dentures, replacing an old set, repairing a broken denture or looking at implant-supported dentures, you probably want an idea of the cost before you make an appointment.
So rather than making you come in before we’ll talk about money, we’ve put our denture prices and common treatment costs here to give you a starting point.
Every mouth is different, so your final cost will depend on what you actually need. We’ll explain your options and provide a clear quote before going
Why Can Denture Prices Vary?
You might have noticed there can be quite a difference in denture prices.
That’s because not all dentures are the same, and not every person needs the same thing.
Your price can depend on factors such as:
- whether you need a full or partial denture
- how many teeth need replacing
- the type of denture and materials used
- the condition of your existing teeth and gums
- whether teeth are being extracted
- whether you’re having immediate dentures
- whether implants are involved
- the complexity of your individual case.
That’s why prices online should always be treated as a guide.
We’d rather sit down with you, work out what you actually need and give you a clear price for your situation.
Partial Dentures
Approximately $2,000 – $3,500 each
Partial dentures are designed to replace one or more missing teeth while keeping your remaining natural teeth.
The cost of partial dentures can vary depending on how many teeth need replacing, the design of the denture and the material used.
We can show you the different options and explain the advantages and costs of each without making the decision more complicated than it needs to be.
Full Dentures
Approximately $2,500 each
If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth in the upper or lower jaw, a full denture can restore your smile and help support everyday function.
There’s much more to making a good full denture than simply replacing teeth.
The fit, bite, tooth position, shape, colour and overall appearance all need to work together. We take the time to create dentures that suit you, rather than making every smile look the same.
Implant Dentures
Approximately $3,500 – $4,000 each arch for the denture component, plus the cost of implants
If you’re worried about dentures moving around or you’re looking for additional stability, implant-supported dentures may be an option worth discussing.
The dental implants themselves are a separate cost and need to be planned and placed by an appropriately qualified dental practitioner.
At Coast to Coast Dentures, we can help with the denture side of the process and work alongside your treating dentist.
Denture Repairs
Approximately $300
Broken denture?
Before assuming you need an entirely new one, bring it in and let us take a look.
Many broken or damaged dentures can be repaired. We’ll assess what’s happened and let you know what’s possible before proceeding.
Denture Relines
Approximately $600
Does your denture feel looser than it used to?
Your mouth naturally changes over time, particularly following tooth extractions. This doesn’t always mean you need completely new dentures.
A denture reline modifies the fitting surface of your existing denture to better match the current shape of your gums.
Relines are also an expected part of the process for many people who have immediate dentures, because the gums change considerably while healing after teeth are removed.
Adding a Tooth to a Denture
Approximately $450
If you’ve had another tooth removed and already wear a partial denture, it may be possible to add a tooth to your existing denture rather than starting again.
Whether this can be done depends on your existing denture, its condition and where the new tooth needs to be added.
What About Immediate Denture Costs?
If you have loose, wobbly or failing teeth that need to be removed, you may not have to spend months without teeth.
With immediate dentures, your dentures can be prepared before your extractions so they’re ready to be placed after your dentist removes the teeth.
Your teeth come out. Your dentures go in.
Because your gums naturally shrink and change as they heal, immediate dentures commonly require adjustments and a reline afterwards.
We’ll explain these expected costs when planning your treatment so you understand the process before getting started.
